Junior Corporate Lawyer

About the role

Law Squared is seeking a highly motivated Corporate Lawyer with at least three years of post‑qualification experience to join its fast‑growing corporate team. The role offers exposure to a wide range of sophisticated corporate and commercial matters while working directly with founders, executives and in‑house legal teams across Australia.

Key responsibilities

• Draft and review transaction documents for a variety of corporate matters.
• Support and progressively lead private acquisitions, including share and asset sale transactions.
• Manage all stages of transactions – due diligence, documentation, disclosure, completion and post‑completion matters.
• Prepare shareholder agreements, constitutions and related governance documents.
• Assist clients with employee equity arrangements such as ESOPs and option plans.
• Support corporate restructures, business acquisitions and divestments.
• Project‑manage transactions to ensure efficient progress and meet deadlines.

Required profile

• 3+ years post‑qualification experience (PQE) in corporate law.
• Commercially minded with a proactive, solutions‑focused attitude.
• Strong client‑facing skills and ability to build trusted relationships.
• Ambitious, eager to accelerate career within a modern, high‑performing law firm.
