About the role
Roland Berger is launching its Australian office in Sydney and is looking for a Junior Consultant to join the fast‑growing Transaction & Investor Services team. You will work with financial sponsor clients across the transaction lifecycle, supporting opportunity identification, due diligence, value creation and exit readiness.
Key responsibilities
- Analyze business data and conduct market and competitive positioning studies.
- Perform strategic and operational diagnostics, lead client interviews and contribute to presentation preparation.
- Participate in workshops and help deliver insights to investors and strategic clients.
Required profile
- 1‑2 years of experience in strategy consulting or related transaction work (e.g., investment banking).
- Outstanding academic credentials from a leading institution.
- Fluent English communication, strong interpersonal skills and willingness to travel.
- Australian citizenship or residency.
Required skills
- Financial modelling.
- Analytical thinking combined with digital and AI‑based tools.
