Job Placement Consultant

About the role

The Job Placement Consultant will support injured workers in their return‑to‑work journey by providing high‑quality job‑seeking assistance and candidate marketing services. This full‑time position is based in Bendigo and may also be offered on a part‑time basis.

Key responsibilities

• Assist injured workers with resume development, interview preparation, online job search strategies and cold canvassing.
• Collaborate with Case Managers to achieve successful return‑to‑work outcomes and participate in regular job‑seeking meetings.
• Conduct labour market research and prepare relevant reports.
• Identify and promote employment opportunities for injured workers using available programs and initiatives.

Required profile

• Background in employment services, case management or disability employment (desirable but not essential).
• Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with customers and stakeholders.
• Passion for helping people gain employment and enhance their careers.
• Current driver’s licence and access to a vehicle.

Required skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Strong resume writing ability and understanding of the local labour market.
