IT Support Specialist – Sydney

About the role

Coforge is looking for an Information Technology Support Specialist to join its Sydney team. You will provide end‑user computing (EUC) support, maintain hardware inventory and ensure smooth operation of IT services across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑line support for laptops, desktops, printers, scanners and other peripherals.
• Manage user accounts, mailbox creation and licensing in Active Directory, Exchange and Office 365.
• Coordinate with third‑party vendors for equipment delivery, escalations and issue resolution.
• Follow ITIL processes for incident, request, change and problem management, including on‑call duties for critical issues.
• Maintain hardware stock levels, order equipment as needed and ensure device availability.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance end‑user experience and operational efficiency.
• Participate in IT projects, providing technical expertise and support.

Required profile

• 2‑4 years of experience in IT support or a related technical role.
• Strong customer service skills with effective communication via phone, email and chat.
• Ability to build and maintain stakeholder relationships and work collaboratively with internal teams and external vendors.

Required skills

• Active Directory, ADFS, Azure Active Directory, Rights Management Services.
• Exchange, Office 365 (O365) user provisioning.
• ServiceNow and ITIL incident management.
• LAN/Wi‑Fi connectivity, TCP/IP, WAN networking.
• Knowledge of BYOD models such as CYOD and COPE.
