Senior Cyber Security Engineer

About the role

This is a broad, hands‑on security engineering position within a fast‑growing HealthTech company. You will be the primary internal technical security resource, working directly with IT & Security leadership across SecOps, cloud/SaaS security and application security.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the main internal technical security contact, collaborating with an outsourced SOC to investigate, contain and remediate incidents.
• Own day‑to‑day vulnerability management across corporate, cloud and SaaS environments, helping teams prioritize and resolve issues.
• Partner with software engineering and architecture teams to embed secure development practices and improve application security.
• Review new SaaS platforms, vendors and technical solutions from a security perspective, especially where sensitive customer data is involved.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience in security engineering, security operations or a similar technical cybersecurity role.
• Broad exposure to endpoint security, SIEM, vulnerability management, IAM, cloud security or SaaS security.
• Comfortable investigating security issues directly rather than only providing advisory guidance.
• Ability to work collaboratively with engineers and business stakeholders, translating risk into practical actions.
