IT Support Officer – Northern Victoria (Seymour)

About the role

We are seeking two IT Support Officers to provide Level 1 IT delivery and operational support for a large‑scale project across active hubs and field venues in Northern Victoria. The role combines service‑desk troubleshooting with hands‑on hardware deployment and runs from August 2024 to December 2026.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for technical enquiries (face‑to‑face and onsite).
• Log, triage and manage incidents under tight, time‑critical constraints.
• Set up, configure, test and de‑commission field devices, laptops, printers and specialised operational equipment.
• Resolve routine issues such as user‑account logins, password resets, software errors and basic wired/wireless network connectivity.
• Maintain accurate asset‑tracking records and documentation for all deployed equipment.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience delivering Level 1 IT support, service‑desk or field technical assistance.
• Proficiency with Windows devices, PC hardware, Microsoft Office, Teams and standard ticketing tools.
• Ability to quickly learn specialised proprietary hardware workflows.
• Strong communication, calm under pressure and professional handling of sensitive data.
• Full Australian work rights, a current driver’s licence and willingness to work rostered shifts (including early mornings, evenings and weekends).
