IT Support Admin

About the role

Elastic is looking for an IT Support Admin to keep its technology environment running smoothly and to provide day‑to‑day technical assistance to staff. You will troubleshoot hardware and software issues, manage network devices, and support users across the office.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to technical support requests, diagnose hardware and software problems, and document resolutions.
• Manage office network, peripherals, and inventory of hardware and software licenses.
• Monitor system performance, analyze logs, and address potential issues promptly.
• Configure, test, and assess network devices, implement security protocols, and work with vendors.
• Assist users with software troubleshooting, onboarding, and training on new tools.

Required profile

• 2+ years in a corporate technical support role.
• 2+ years troubleshooting hardware and software, including repairs.
• 1+ years experience in network configuration and administration.
• Experience with cloud‑hosted solutions such as Google Workspace, Okta, NetSuite, and Salesforce.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Windows and macOS operating systems.
• Knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, IP addressing), routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
• Hands‑on experience with Cisco, Meraki, HP network equipment.
• Familiarity with device management systems (JAMF, Meraki, Intune).
• Basic scripting in PowerShell, Bash, or Python for automation.
• Experience with ticketing systems and hardware/software inventory management.
