IT Audit Manager

About the role

Lead impactful audits across cyber, cloud, data and AI, influencing senior leaders and shaping technology risk management for a major financial services group.

Key responsibilities

• Lead technology audits covering cyber security, cloud, data, resilience, AI and emerging risks.
• Deliver clear, practical audit insights and recommendations to senior leaders and build trusted stakeholder relationships.
• Identify emerging technology risks, shape the audit universe and plan, and support AI governance auditing.
• Act as a technology risk subject‑matter expert, coach team members and contribute to a collaborative culture.

Required profile

• Relevant qualification in Business, Commerce, IT, Information Systems or related discipline.
• CIA, CISA or CISM certification with extensive technology audit, risk assurance or controls experience in financial services.
• Strong knowledge of technology risk frameworks such as COBIT and NIST.
• Understanding of Australian financial services regulation (APRA CPS 230/234, ASIC).
