Inventory Manager

About the role

The Reject Shop, now part of Dollarama, is expanding its supply chain network across Australia. We are seeking an Inventory Manager to own the imported inventory flow, ensure accurate ordering, and optimise distribution across our Melbourne, WA and QLD distribution centres.

Key responsibilities

• Manage weekly ordering with Dollarama, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business needs.
• Own the end‑to‑end imported inventory flow into the Melbourne DC and coordinate distribution to WA and QLD.
• Balance inventory levels and execute transfers between distribution centres.
• Partner with senior Dollarama stakeholders to maintain clarity and alignment on orders.
• Communicate changes arising from the ordering process and provide regular import splits and inventory updates.
• Develop and embed new processes to support the evolving import and distribution model.
• Identify opportunities to optimise inventory positioning, systems and ways of working.

Required profile

• 3–5+ years of experience in supply chain, replenishment, inventory or optimisation roles.
• Strong understanding of distribution centre operations within a retail environment.
• Experience managing imports or working closely with import functions.
• Proven ability to work independently, manage ambiguity and drive outcomes.
• Excellent stakeholder management, including senior external partners.

Required skills

• High proficiency in Excel.
• Strong command of the Microsoft Office suite.
