Transport Coordinator – Logistics Operations

About the role

As a Transport Coordinator at DHL Supply Chain, you will ensure the smooth coordination of local and regional transport operations for a key customer account. Working in a fast‑paced environment, you will manage delivery schedules, liaise with transport providers, and resolve operational issues to deliver exceptional service.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and coordinate local and regional delivery activities to meet customer expectations.
• Monitor transport performance, proactively resolve delivery or service issues, and maintain accurate documentation.
• Maintain effective relationships with customers, transport providers, drivers, and internal operational teams.
• Support daily transport operations to achieve service levels, safety, and compliance with National Heavy Vehicle Legislation (NHVL).
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service performance.
• Coordinate resource allocation to meet operational targets and customer commitments.

Required profile

• Previous experience in transport, logistics, fleet coordination or supply chain operations.
• Strong understanding of transport compliance requirements and NHVL.
• Excellent problem‑solving, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours when operational demands require.
