International Field Service Representative (Remote – Australia)

About the role

Silvus is seeking an International Field Service Representative to act as a senior‑level technical advisor for customers across Australia. The role is 100% remote, with extensive travel to customer sites, and involves both pre‑sales and post‑sales support for advanced wireless communication systems.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical demonstrations, system evaluations and customized solutions for MIMO radios and mesh networking.
• Conduct on‑site and remote diagnostics, network configuration, and optimization of field systems.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Sales and Product Management to feed field insights into product design and troubleshooting.
• Lead long‑duration user trials, training sessions and technical briefings for end users.
• Document field observations and recommend improvements that influence product roadmaps.

Required profile

• Secondary education required; a technical degree is preferred.
• 1‑3 years experience supporting communications, radios or data networks in DoD, military or law‑enforcement environments.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Based in Australia and willing to travel up to 75% of the time, including potential conflict areas.

Required skills

• TCP/IP protocols and network architecture.
• Radio frequency systems and RF test equipment (spectrum analyzers, signal generators).
• Linux environments, scripting, and C/C++ programming.
• Experience with MIMO radios, mesh networking and tactical communications.
