Internal Review Specialist – Personal Injury

About the role

The Internal Review Specialist will independently assess personal injury claim decisions, ensuring compliance with NSW CTP legislation and delivering clear outcomes to customers. This permanent, hybrid position reports to the Internal Review Manager and forms part of Allianz's Internal Review Team.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct independent internal reviews of claim decisions and prepare Certificates of Determination with supporting reasoning.
• Communicate with customers by telephone throughout the review process.
• Prepare and respond to legal submissions for the Personal Injury Commission.
• Liaise with lawyers and other stakeholders during reviews.
• Ensure adherence to legislative requirements and timeframes.
• Assist in developing and managing relationships with external stakeholders.

Required profile

• Strong legal, technical and analytical abilities, particularly in interpreting NSW CTP legislation.
• Excellent written communication skills, able to translate complex legal findings into plain English.
• High attention to detail and ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
• Proven customer‑service excellence with a focus on clear, effective solutions.
• Collaborative team player adaptable to dynamic work settings.
