Internal Digital and Communications Advisor

About the role

AFCA is seeking an Internal Digital and Communications Advisor on a 10‑12 month contract to enhance employee communications across digital platforms. You will help over 1,500 staff access timely, clear information via the intranet, Knowledge Centre and other channels.

Key responsibilities

• Write, edit and publish internal news, updates and employee content across AFCA’s digital channels.
• Support organisation‑wide communication initiatives and business campaigns.
• Create and maintain content on the intranet, Knowledge Centre and employee‑facing platforms.
• Partner with subject‑matter experts to translate complex information into clear, practical content.
• Build and maintain user‑focused SharePoint pages that are visually engaging.
• Provide guidance and coaching to content owners and publishers.

Required profile

• Experience in internal or employee communications, content publishing or a related role.
• Strong writing and editing ability to simplify complex information.
• Confidence working with stakeholders and subject‑matter experts.
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Collaborative mindset and commitment to continuous improvement.

Required skills

• SharePoint Online content creation and management.
• Intranet or similar digital platform experience.
