Insolvency Accountant

About the role

We are looking for enthusiastic graduates with degrees in Business, Finance or Accounting to join our Insolvency team in Perth. The role provides hands‑on experience across insolvency, restructuring and corporate transaction engagements, supporting senior staff on real client work.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with the administration of formal insolvency appointments such as liquidations, administrations, receiverships and bankruptcies.
• Prepare statutory reports, correspondence and filings with relevant regulatory bodies.
• Conduct investigations into company affairs, financial records and potential recoveries.
• Liaise with directors, creditors, employees, financiers, lawyers and government agencies.
• Support asset realisation, creditor distributions and claims adjudication.
• Maintain accurate case files and ensure compliance with legislative and regulatory requirements.
• Support senior staff with stakeholder meetings, creditor communications and court processes.
• Analyse financial information and prepare summaries, recommendations and identify recovery actions.

Required profile

• Business, Finance or Accounting degree.
• Interest in advisory, insolvency or corporate finance.
• Studying towards or holding a professional qualification (CA, CPA or CFA).
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Confident communicator and team player.
