Insolvency Accountant (Intermediate - Senior)

About the role

SV Partners, a specialist insolvency firm with over 150 people and a presence in every Australian state, is growing and has several openings across the firm. Its Brisbane office is looking for an Insolvency Accountant at intermediate to senior level, for someone eager to learn and contribute. The role covers the full range of formal and informal insolvency appointments, including investigating accountants' reports, expert reports, agents for mortgagee in possession and secured creditor advisory.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the team in planning and controlling small to medium-sized jobs
• Step up to perform the more complex work involved in larger matters
• Work on a wide variety of matters across different industries on a daily basis

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Commerce, Law or similar
• At least 1 year of insolvency experience across personal and corporate appointments
• High emotional intelligence and strong interpersonal skills
• Proven time management and exceptional attention to detail
• Bonus: CA/CPA qualification or studies towards it, experience in Insol, knowledge of FYI Docs
