Initiative Lead, Lending Securities Management

About the role

The Initiative Lead serves as the Executive Product Owner for the Lending Securities Management (LSM) platform across ANZ. You will shape the product vision, align it with enterprise strategy and deliver a secure, compliant, customer‑centric service that supports the bank’s growth ambitions.

Key responsibilities

• Define product vision, objectives and success metrics for the LSM platform, ensuring alignment with ANZ’s enterprise strategy.
• Oversee the full service lifecycle – design, build, release and BAU support – guaranteeing resilience, compliance and scalability.
• Manage stakeholder and vendor relationships, acting as the liaison between senior business leaders, technology teams and external partners.
• Control program financials, forecasting, governance and risk management to meet regulatory obligations.
• Lead and develop a multidisciplinary team, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement across the platform.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an Executive Product Owner or similar senior product leadership role within banking or financial services.
• Strong understanding of lending, securities management and related regulatory frameworks.
• Demonstrated ability to balance business priorities, technology capabilities and compliance requirements.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with experience influencing senior executives.
• Track record of building and leading high‑performing teams.
