About the role
Scyne Advisory is seeking an experienced Director to lead its Strategy and Performance Improvement team. You will work with senior executives across public and commercial sectors to deliver strategic operating model reviews and financial performance solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and quantify revenue uplift, cost reduction and margin improvement opportunities, building robust business cases.
- Collaborate with senior leaders to define strategic vision, develop strategic plans and design future‑state operating models.
- Create implementation roadmaps, track financial benefits and support execution of performance optimisation initiatives.
- Contribute to business development through proposals, practice initiatives and client relationship building.
- Engage with senior federal/state stakeholders to deliver workshops, presentations and reports.
Required profile
- Significant experience in a Tier‑1, boutique or mid‑tier consulting practice focusing on strategy, target operating model design and financial performance improvement.
- Proven ability to structure ambiguous problems, conduct rigorous analysis and deliver actionable recommendations.
- Demonstrated leadership of complex engagements and senior client relationship management.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to craft executive narratives.
- Comfortable in fast‑paced, ambiguous, change‑driven environments and capable of coaching junior staff.
Required skills
- Financial analysis and business case modelling (revenue, cost, productivity, benefits realisation).
- Operating model assessment and redesign covering organisation structure, processes, governance and service delivery.
