Industrial Cleaner - Ferry In Ferry Out (DIDO)

About the role

Sodexo is recruiting experienced Hospitality and Cleaning All Rounders (Service Attendants) for its regional Queensland operations, working in a busy village environment where quality meals keep mining communities running safely and efficiently. This is a Ferry In Ferry Out (DIDO) role based in Gladstone on a casual basis, with the potential for permanent placement for high-performing employees.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and maintain mine-site offices, outdoor areas and common areas
• Support kitchen and dining room operations, including basic food handling and preparation
• Prepare food and maintain kitchen hygiene and food safety standards

Required profile

• Australian driver's licence
• Physically fit and able to work long shifts of up to 10 hours
• Ability to work well in a team and independently
• Ability to work in remote environments and varying weather conditions
• Full Australian working rights
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol test
• FIFO, DIDO or remote site experience desirable but not essential
