Indirect Procurement Manager – Sydney

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic, commercially‑minded Indirect Procurement Manager to lead end‑to‑end indirect procurement operations across Australia, New Zealand and Singapore. You will work closely with local and regional stakeholders to develop category strategies, drive cost savings and optimise supplier relationships while aligning with global procurement objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans, yearly savings initiatives and project pipelines.
• Analyse spend data and market trends to uncover new value‑creation opportunities.
• Partner with internal teams to identify business needs, deliver cost reductions and improve supplier performance.
• Lead RFI, RFQ and RFP processes, negotiate contracts and manage risk and compliance.
• Maintain and grow strategic supplier relationships, driving continuous improvement and collaboration.
• Oversee category‑specific savings across marketing services, media, store construction, logistics, travel, IT, office services and more.
• Approve payments, PO approvals, manage Ariba/SAP vendor support and execute agreements via DocuSign.
• Define, maintain and enforce procurement policies and procedures.

Required profile

• Proven experience in indirect procurement or category management.
• Strong commercial acumen with a track record of delivering measurable cost savings.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with local and global stakeholders.
• Excellent negotiation and contract management skills.
• Experience managing Procure‑to‑Pay processes and supplier performance.
