Inclusive Café Team Leader

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Inclusive Café Team Leader to manage daily operations of our social‑enterprise café while mentoring employees with disability. The role is based at the Endeavour Foundations support office in Cannon Hill and offers full‑time, Monday‑Friday hours.

Key responsibilities

• Mentor and coach employees with disability to develop workplace skills, confidence and independence.
• Support the Café Site Coordinator in day‑to‑day café operations, including coffee, food preparation and boardroom catering.
• Lead by example, delivering excellent customer service and maintaining professional hospitality standards.
• Ensure food safety, cleanliness and compliance with relevant regulations.
• Monitor quality across all service areas and manage stock, supplier relationships and inventory control.
• Minimise waste and promote efficient business operations.

Required profile

• Hospitality professional passionate about inclusive employment and community impact.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment, multitask and stay calm under pressure.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Commitment to person‑centred practice and inclusion.

Required skills

• Sound knowledge of food safety and workplace health and safety requirements.
• Experience in stock management and inventory control.
