ILS Analyst – Technical Publication & Author

About the role

The ILS Analyst (Technical Publication/Author) will produce, update and integrate technically accurate, standards‑compliant maintenance and support documentation for maritime defence products. This permanent position is based at Garden Island, Sydney and reports directly to the Project Lead.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, update and amend technical publications (TMP, SA, ANP change pages) in line with approved standards and project schedule.
• Ensure publications reflect validated system data, maintenance concepts, certification requirements and configuration changes.
• Collaborate with SQEPs, LSAR Analysts and Configuration Officers to resolve technical ambiguities and maintain consistency.
• Manage review cycles, comments and corrective actions, maintaining traceability and document integrity.
• Support publication release and incorporation activities in CMT‑U or equivalent systems for handover to ACS CLCM.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years experience in Logistic Support Analysis within the defence maritime domain.
• 3‑5 years experience in Integrated Logistics Support for maritime defence.
• Experience with Navy Technical Risk Management and ITAR clearance eligibility.
• Active Baseline Defence Security Clearance.
