ILS Analyst (Supply Specialist)

About the role

The ILS Supply Specialist supports the Maintenance Baseline Uplift Project, ensuring supply support and allowance data are accurate and aligned across Defence logistics systems. This permanent full‑time position is based at Garden Island, Sydney and reports to the Project Lead.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse and remediate misalignment of supply support data, including APLs, allowances and logistics attributes across ERP, APLCRATES, NAVALLOW and other Defence systems.
• Validate supply support data against approved system configuration and maintenance concepts, coordinating with SQEPs, LSAR Analysts and Configuration Officers.
• Manage codification and cataloguing activities, reviewing part numbers, supplier information and NSN status for audit‑ready logistics data.
• Identify and report supply‑related risks such as obsolescence, shortages and procurement constraints to support project decisions.
• Ensure baseline release readiness by confirming completeness, internal consistency and documentation of supply support elements.

Required profile

• Cert IV in Materiel Logistics or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years experience in Logistic Support Analysis and Integrated Logistics Support within the Defence maritime domain.
• Eligibility for ITAR clearance of relevant ship systems and an active Baseline Defence Security Clearance.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Defence logistics management systems (Defence ERP/MILIS, LNIDs, APLCRATES).
• Navy Technical Risk Management experience.
• Experience with ERP and AMPS platforms.
