ICT and Cyber Security Manager

About the role

Babcock is looking for an ICT and Cyber Security Manager in Adelaide to lead the delivery and sustainment of network, infrastructure and security capabilities supporting the Enhanced Defence High Frequency Communications System and related projects. The role covers technical delivery, systems integration and operational support, ensuring ICT solutions meet program requirements for quality, cost, schedule, security and performance, while driving team development, continuous improvement and stakeholder engagement.

Required profile

• Extensive experience delivering and supporting complex ICT environments, including infrastructure, networking and systems integration.
• Proven experience leading technical teams and managing ICT delivery, operations and support.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise infrastructure, including Windows Server, Microsoft environments, Active Directory, virtualisation, storage, backup and disaster recovery.
• Strong networking expertise across routing, switching, firewalls, WAN/LAN and secure network environments.
• Experience in system administration, identity and access management, endpoint management, patching, configuration management and infrastructure lifecycle management.
• Practical knowledge of infrastructure and network security, including system hardening, vulnerability management, access controls, logging, monitoring and security governance.
• Desirable: defence or highly regulated industry experience in HF communications.
• Must be eligible to obtain an appropriate level of Commonwealth Personnel Security Clearance under AGSVA guidelines; pre-employment checks may be required.
