Human Resources Officer

About the role

The Human Resources Officer will partner closely with frontline leaders across operational hubs to provide practical, on‑the‑ground HR support. This role influences employee experience, ensures compliance with Australian legislation, and contributes to the growth of Dragonfly’s operations.

Key responsibilities

• Support and oversee HR operations, delivering people support to frontline teams.
• Manage day‑to‑day employee relations, investigations and documentation.
• Assist performance and attendance management, coaching leaders on underperformance and wellbeing.
• Ensure consistent application of HR policies and Australian employment legislation.
• Support recruitment, onboarding and off‑boarding for operational roles.
• Produce and analyse HR reports and workforce data to identify trends.
• Collaborate with Payroll, Recruitment and WHS to ensure seamless people operations.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a generalist HR role, preferably supporting multi‑site teams.
• Strong knowledge of Australian employment legislation, modern awards and HR policies.
• Experience managing employee relations, performance, attendance and investigations.
• Demonstrated ability to support recruitment and onboarding for operational roles.
• Excellent organisational and administrative skills with attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to influence leaders.
