Human Resources Coordinator

About the role

This permanent position supports the People & Culture team of a well‑established wellness and fitness centre. You will be responsible for day‑to‑day HR operations, employee lifecycle management and providing a smooth, positive experience for staff.

Key responsibilities

• Support day‑to‑day HR coordination across the organisation.
• Assist with HR administration, reporting and systems management.
• Coordinate compliance training and learning initiatives.
• Support onboarding and employee lifecycle processes.
• Maintain HR calendars, documentation and employee records.
• Assist with culture and engagement initiatives, including social activities and team events.
• Coordinate operational tasks such as uniforms and stock management.
• Provide general People & Culture support to leaders and employees across multiple departments.

Required profile

• Previous experience in HR, recruitment, administration or coordination roles.
• Strong administration and organisational abilities.
• Positive, collaborative attitude with a team‑focused approach.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• High attention to detail and strong time‑management capabilities.
• Experience in health, wellness, hospitality, community or service environments is highly regarded.
