HR Advisor – People & Culture (12‑month contract)

About the role

Join The Star Gold Coast as a People Advisor, supporting leaders and the People & Culture team to drive engagement, capability and business performance across a 24/7 integrated resort. This 12‑month fixed‑term role offers the chance to influence HR initiatives, build capability and shape an exceptional team member experience.

Key responsibilities

• Provide generalist HR advice to leaders on performance, engagement, remuneration and workforce matters.
• Support end‑to‑end employee lifecycle processes ensuring compliance with legislation, policies and best practice.
• Contribute to People & Culture initiatives and projects, applying change‑management techniques to secure adoption.
• Analyse people data, delivering insights that inform decision‑making and the People Plan.
• Assist with position management activities, including organisational structure updates, position description reviews and workforce planning alignment.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an HR Advisor or HR Generalist.
• Relevant HR qualifications (highly regarded) and solid knowledge of employment legislation, industrial relations and Fair Work frameworks.
• Strong relationship‑building, influencing and communication abilities.
• Demonstrated capacity to thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment with competing priorities.
