Housekeeping Team Leader

About the role

The Housekeeping Team Leader will supervise attendants and housepersons, supporting the Housekeeping Manager in maintaining the cleanliness of guest rooms and public areas. This role ensures high standards of guest service through effective team coordination and training.

Key responsibilities

• Assign daily cleaning tasks to housekeeping staff.
• Inspect rooms and public areas to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Train new and existing staff on cleaning procedures and guest service expectations.
• Monitor and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.

Required profile

• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.
• Prior housekeeping experience preferred.
• Knowledge of the Opera System and basic computer skills.
• Understanding of cleaning agents and chemicals is an advantage.
• Strong communication skills and a valid visa to work in Australia.
