Hotel Front Office Night Auditor

About the role

The Clarence Hotel Sydney, a 50-room property in the central CBD near Wynyard, Pitt St Mall, Barangaroo and Darling Harbour, is seeking a Night Auditor. The role suits someone ready to take responsibility and work closely with a small team, and the position is available to start as soon as possible.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct end-of-day financial audits, including reconciling accounts, verifying transactions and keeping financial records accurate.
• Facilitate check-in and check-out during overnight hours, checking in-room charges, payments and guest information.
• Generate and distribute daily reports on financial transactions, room occupancy and other information for management.
• Assist guests overnight, answering inquiries, handling reservations and supporting late-night arrivals and early departures.
• Monitor security and safety systems, address issues and report incidents to the appropriate personnel.
• Perform other duties as required during the shift, as assigned by the manager.

Required profile

• Previous hotel or similar experience is not required; training is provided.
• Previous hotel experience is an advantage.
• Knowledge of the Ariel system is an advantage.
• Ability to work independently and confidently in a small team.
• Passion for hospitality and a willingness to try different approaches.
