Hotel Business Development Manager

About the role

Punthill Albury is a newly developed 83-key apartment hotel in Albury's CBD, offering studios, one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments for corporate and extended-stay guests. As Business Development Manager you will build and grow a portfolio of corporate partnerships with government, healthcare, education and commercial clients, working closely with the Hotel Manager to reach the hotel's strategic goals.

Key responsibilities

• Drive direct corporate sales (B2B) to increase production and generate new corporate relationships
• Navigate and secure opportunities linked to major projects and institutions
• Cold call, knock on doors, generate new leads and build a strong corporate pipeline
• Increase brand awareness by strengthening existing relationships and building new ones
• Conduct site inspections, client visits, attend industry events and work in a team-oriented way
• Develop and implement sales plans and a targeted approach to exceed targets

Required profile

• Approved Australian working rights (citizenship, permanent residency or a visa with approved working rights)
• Demonstrated experience in B2B sales
• Ability to resolve problems or overcome objections
• Attention to detail and strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to make strategically aligned business decisions and a passion for personal growth
