Head of Wholesale Business

About the role

We are seeking a Head of Wholesale Business to lead and scale Chanel’s wholesale operations across Department Stores, Travel Retail and new distribution opportunities in Australia & New Zealand. The role combines distribution strategy, commercial leadership and business development to position Chanel as the reference luxury brand in selective wholesale environments.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the overall wholesale strategy (online and offline) for the ANZ market and Travel Retail, aligned with brand ambition and financial objectives.
• Own full P&L accountability for wholesale channels, driving sustainable, profitable growth.
• Set performance targets by channel, monitor results and implement corrective actions.
• Maximise e‑retail potential while protecting revenue, visibility and client experience through strong trade partnerships.
• Lead commercial governance, including terms & conditions and risk management.
• Develop and manage long‑term partnerships with key Department Store partners, overseeing joint business planning, negotiations and activation strategies.
• Define and lead the Travel Retail strategy, building partnerships with retailers, operators and airport authorities.
• Contribute to the ANZ FBP Leadership Committee, supporting strategic decisions and organisational transformation.

Required profile

• Senior business leader with proven experience in wholesale and distribution within luxury or beauty sectors.
• Demonstrated full P&L responsibility and ability to drive profitable growth.
• Strong partnership‑building and negotiation skills with department stores and travel‑retail partners.
• Ability to align commercial actions with brand positioning and client experience standards.
