Head of People and Culture Business Partners

About the role

We are seeking an experienced, people‑first leader to join ForHealth as Head of People Partnering. Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, you will lead our national team of People & Culture Business Partners and act as the senior People partner to state leadership teams across Victoria, South Australia and Tasmania.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor the People & Culture Business Partners team, setting annual plans and supporting development.
• Act as trusted advisor to senior leaders, supporting organisational change, restructures and the annual remuneration review.
• Prepare and submit the annual Workplace Gender Equality Agency (WGEA) report.
• Lead national people initiatives such as employee wellbeing, culture and engagement programmes.
• Provide expert employee and industrial relations advice, manage investigations, union meetings and performance matters.
• Oversee compliance checks for the clinical workforce, including Working with Children Checks and AHPRA registration.
• Run recruitment for senior roles, performance review cycles and recognition programmes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources or related field.
• At least 5 years’ experience as a People & Culture Business Partner or 3 years in a senior People & Culture manager role.
• Proven experience leading a People & Culture team and delivering value.
• Strong employee and industrial relations skills, including investigations and union engagement.
• Solid understanding of employment legislation, awards and compliance requirements.
• Commercial awareness, change‑management experience and excellent communication skills.
• Genuine interest in coaching and developing others and a collaborative style aligned with company values.
