Head of Marketplace Operations

About the role

Optizon is seeking a senior, hands‑on leader to head its Amazon marketplace operations across multiple brands. The role combines deep Amazon expertise with operational acumen, AI‑driven strategy, and cross‑functional leadership in a fast‑moving e‑commerce environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day Amazon operations, ensuring optimal listings, account health, pricing, fulfillment and compliance.
• Drive growth initiatives such as new product launches, keyword optimization, promotions and advertising.
• Monitor sales velocity, customer metrics and profitability to inform strategic decisions.
• Resolve high‑impact Amazon issues quickly, including listing suspensions and policy violations.
• Direct end‑to‑end supply‑chain activities: procurement, inventory forecasting, 3PL coordination and FBA/FBM logistics.
• Collaborate with sourcing teams to improve lead times, reduce COGS and strengthen vendor reliability.
• Lead customer‑service strategy on Amazon, implementing SOPs and automation to improve response times, returns and warranty handling.
• Leverage AI tools and automation platforms to enhance forecasting, ad performance, competitive analysis and process efficiency.
• Manage and grow cross‑functional teams, building scalable systems aligned with revenue and profitability goals.

Required profile

• Senior‑level professional with extensive Amazon marketplace experience.
• Strong operational instincts and ability to make data‑driven decisions.
• Proven leadership in cross‑functional environments and supply‑chain management.
• Comfort with AI‑driven tools and automation to improve e‑commerce performance.
