Head of Curriculum and Pedagogy

About the role

This newly created senior position will lead the educational vision across three early learning centres. Reporting to the Operations Manager and supervising three Educational Leaders, you will shape curriculum delivery, strengthen pedagogy and drive continuous improvement for every child.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a cohesive curriculum strategy aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
• Mentor and coach Educational Leaders to achieve best‑practice teaching.
• Monitor educational quality, identify improvement opportunities and support centres to maintain strong National Quality Standard outcomes.
• Lead professional development programmes and foster a culture of reflective practice.
• Collaborate with Centre Directors to embed educational priorities in daily operations.

Required profile

• Recognised Early Childhood Teaching qualification.
• Extensive experience in early childhood education and care.
• Proven success in curriculum leadership and educator mentoring.
• Strong knowledge of the EYLF, National Quality Framework and assessment processes.
• Strategic mindset with a hands‑on approach and commitment to continuous improvement.
