Guest Service Centre Agent

About the role

Sofitel Adelaide is looking for a Guest Service Centre Agent, a part-time position. You are the first voice guests hear and a central point of connection throughout their stay, welcoming guests warmly and professionally by phone.

Key responsibilities

• Provide a warm and professional welcome over the phone
• Manage the hotel switchboard and direct calls
• Respond to guest enquiries and requests with care and confidence
• Listen, anticipate and take ownership to connect guests with the right people and services across the hotel

Required profile

• A guest-focused personality
• Excellent verbal and written English; additional languages are an advantage
• Strong interpersonal skills, problem-solving ability, organisation and attention to detail
• Ability to prioritise, make sound decisions and stay calm in a fast-paced environment
• Valid South Australian Responsible Service of Alcohol certification
• Availability to work a 7-day roster is desirable; flexible arrangements are welcomed
• Applicants must be currently located in Australia with full Australian working rights

Required skills

• Opera or another Property Management System (PMS)
• Excellent verbal and written English
