Guest Service Agent – Front Office

About the role

Minor Hotels is seeking a full‑time Guest Service Agent for its WRAP on Southbank property in Melbourne. You will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a warm welcome, smooth check‑ins and check‑outs, and providing local recommendations throughout their stay.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver a friendly reception and efficient check‑in process, handling guest inquiries promptly.
• Maintain clear communication with guests and colleagues via in‑person, phone, and email.
• Process reservations, updates and special requests accurately using the property management system.
• Act as the primary contact for guests during their stay, resolving issues and offering personalised recommendations.

Required profile

• Proven experience in hotel, hospitality or customer‑facing roles.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Positive, proactive attitude with a focus on exceeding guest expectations.
• Professional appearance and adherence to brand standards.
• Willingness to work a rotating roster, including weekends, public holidays and varied shifts.
