Graduate Tax Consultant – Corporate & International

About the role

Moore Australia is seeking a motivated graduate to join its Corporate Tax team. This junior position will develop you into a trusted tax adviser, focusing on both domestic and international tax matters while gaining exposure to compliance work.

Key responsibilities

• Support senior team members on tax advisory engagements, including structuring, tax planning, CGT, international tax, GST/FBT and private group issues.
• Assist in preparing and reviewing compliance deliverables such as individual and business tax returns, BAS/IAS and related ATO lodgements.
• Research tax law and ATO guidance, drafting clear client‑ready advice and technical papers.
• Contribute to projects involving restructures, transactions and ATO reviews or private rulings.
• Participate in formal study (CA/CPA/CTA) and receive ongoing coaching.

Required profile

• A degree (or near completion) in Commerce, Business (Accounting), Law or a related field.
• Experience with tax accounting or business advisory in a professional services environment is highly regarded.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with clear written communication.
• Passion for technical tax issues and a commitment to continuous learning.
• Ability to build positive relationships with clients and colleagues.
