Graduate Full Stack Developer

About the role

Turium AI is an Australian-headquartered technology company specialising in artificial intelligence, enterprise software and digital transformation, building the enterprise AI platform Algoreus. It is looking for a motivated Graduate Full Stack Developer to join its Canberra team and help build modern, scalable AI-powered applications. The role offers hands-on experience across frontend, backend, databases, cloud and enterprise AI, alongside experienced developers and technical leaders.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications with React and JavaScript/TypeScript
• Contribute to mobile app development with React Native
• Assist in building backend services and APIs with Python
• Work with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL or SQL Server
• Support data integration, transformation and ETL processes
• Help develop and integrate REST APIs and enterprise systems
• Write clean, tested code and take part in debugging, testing, code reviews and problem-solving
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, designers and AI specialists on AI-powered features and automation workflows

Required profile

• Recent or current Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or a related field
• Strong programming fundamentals, analytical thinking and good communication skills
• Previous commercial experience not required; university projects, internships, GitHub repositories or independent apps are valued

Required skills

• Foundational knowledge of JavaScript or TypeScript and familiarity with React
• Understanding of Python and backend development
• Basic knowledge of relational databases and SQL
• Understanding of REST APIs and client-server architecture
• Familiarity with Git and version control
• Object-oriented programming, data structures and software development principles
