Golf Operations Team Leader

About the role

Newgreens Chatswood, a 12-hole golf course opened in June on Sydney's Lower North Shore, is looking for a Golf Operations Team Leader. It is a permanent part-time role of 32 hours per week, working 8 hours from Friday to Monday. The team leader works alongside the management team to lead the Golf Operations team, coordinate daily activities and make sure members, guests and the local community enjoy a welcoming and memorable golf experience.

Key responsibilities

• Support the daily operations of the Golf Operations team.
• Coordinate daily golf and pro shop operations, including bookings, tee times and customer enquiries.
• Provide a high level of service to members, guests and the local community.
• Assist with merchandising, stock control and presentation of the pro shop.
• Help maintain high standards across golf operational areas and customer-facing spaces.
• Support the onboarding and training of Golf Operations team members.
• Promote safe work practices and ensure operational procedures are followed.

Required profile

• Experience within the golf industry.
• Experience coordinating competition days, corporate events and member activities.
• Passion for growing golf participation.
• Current National Police Check, Working with Children Check and Senior First Aid.
