Global Trade Compliance Counsel Manager

About the role

Accenture is seeking a Trade Compliance lawyer with 3–5+ years of experience to serve as a subject‑matter expert in global trade compliance. Reporting to the Senior Trade Compliance Counsel, Americas Lead, the role supports business stakeholders on transactional trade matters, develops training, and creates tools and guidance aligned with global program standards.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and maintain Accenture’s trade compliance program across the Americas, EMEA, and APAC, including training delivery and policy development.
• Draft and communicate trade compliance communications, support risk assessments, and recommend program improvements.
• Collaborate with Export Control Officers and senior management on regulated export issues and monitoring tools.
• Provide practical advice on trade/export laws, Accenture’s Code of Business Ethics, and related policies.
• Assist with internal audits, investigations, and contract reviews related to trade/export regulations.

Required profile

• Juris Doctorate (or comparable legal Master’s) and admission to practice law.
• Demonstrated knowledge of international trade controls, especially U.S. export controls.
• Experience supporting compliance programs, drafting policies, conducting training, and handling government inquiries.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills with the ability to work cross‑culturally.
• Fluent in English; Chinese language skills are a plus.
