Global Mobility Tax Analyst – Brisbane

About the role

Deloitte’s Global Employer Services team is seeking a Global Mobility Tax Analyst to join its Brisbane office. You will advise international assignees and corporate clients on Australian tax implications of global mobility assignments and support compliance across a portfolio of multinational organisations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide tax advice to international assignees on residency, double tax agreements, capital gains tax and employee share schemes.
• Assist corporate clients with policy design and compliance for their global mobility programmes.
• Prepare and review Australian tax filings for assignees and ensure timely submission.
• Collaborate with Deloitte’s global network of mobility tax specialists to deliver holistic solutions.
• Stay up‑to‑date with changes in Australian tax legislation affecting mobility.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of Australian tax law relevant to mobility, including residency, DTAs, CGT and employment tax.
• Excellent communication skills for direct interaction with assignees and corporate stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple client engagements and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Motivation to develop broader advisory capabilities in global mobility.
