General Practitioner

About the role

This flexible, on‑site General Practitioner position is based at Honeycomb Health in Burwood, VIC. The role focuses on delivering comprehensive primary care aligned with lifestyle medicine principles, supporting both physical and mental wellbeing.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care consultations, including preventive health assessments, chronic disease management and acute presentations.
• Review clinical results, maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with clinical governance.
• Participate in case conferences and contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives.
• Educate patients on lifestyle‑medicine approaches and support practice initiatives.
• Occasionally mentor or supervise other clinical staff as needed.

Required profile

• Strong clinical skills in primary care with experience across the lifespan.
• Fellowship in General Practice and commitment to evidence‑based, preventive, lifestyle‑focused care.
• Current medical registration with AHPRA and appropriate vocational recognition.
• Excellent communication, cultural sensitivity and trauma‑informed, person‑centred care.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with nursing and allied health professionals in a multidisciplinary team.
• Interest in continuous learning and professional development.

Required skills

• Proficiency with clinical software and accurate documentation.
• Adherence to clinical governance and safety standards.
