Dental Assistant – Flexible Casual Role

About the role

Maven Dental Burwood is seeking a skilled and empathetic Casual Dental Assistant to support clinicians across a range of dental procedures while ensuring a positive and comfortable experience for patients.

Key responsibilities

• Provide efficient chairside assistance to clinicians during patient appointments.
• Prepare treatment rooms and equipment, sterilise instruments and maintain infection control standards.
• Maintain a clean, organised clinical environment and support stock control of supplies.
• Help patients feel comfortable and supported throughout their visit.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Dental Assistant, preferably with a Cert III or IV in Dental Assisting.
• Strong communication, interpersonal skills and a patient‑focused approach.
• Ability to multitask and work confidently in a fast‑paced clinical setting.

Required skills

• Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
• Experience using dental software.
