General Practitioner (GP) - Bulk Billing Practice, Corrimal

About the role

An established bulk billing medical practice in Corrimal, in the northern suburbs of Wollongong, NSW, is seeking a qualified and experienced General Practitioner. The practice serves a loyal and growing patient base in a well-resourced, professionally managed environment, with allied health, pathology and imaging on site, chronic disease management programs and urgent care. Working arrangements are flexible, suitable for full-time, part-time or bespoke schedules.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive general practice consultations across all patient demographics
• Manage acute presentations, chronic disease, preventative care and health assessments
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in line with RACGP standards
• Take part in practice quality improvement and team-based care
• Refer patients and coordinate care with specialists and allied health services

Required profile

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree recognised in Australia
• Fellowship of the RACGP (FRACGP) or ACRRM (FACRRM), or equivalent specialist registration
• Full, unconditional AHPRA registration and a Medicare provider number (or eligibility to obtain one)
• Current professional indemnity insurance
• Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality, patient-centred primary care
• Desirable: experience with chronic disease management, health assessments and care planning; familiarity with Medical Director clinical software; interest in community-based general practice; procedural skills
