Full Stack Frontend Developer

About the role

Vocus is building next‑generation telecommunications platforms and is looking for a product‑focused Full Stack Frontend Developer. Based at the Mitcham Data Centre, you will design and build modern, scalable, and secure SaaS applications that power private wireless and telecom solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop responsive, high‑quality frontend applications for SaaS platforms.
• Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate RESTful APIs, services, and data models.
• Translate product requirements into intuitive, user‑centric UI/UX experiences.
• Enhance existing applications for performance, scalability, and usability.
• Apply secure coding practices and contribute to security uplift initiatives.
• Participate across the full software development lifecycle (design, build, test, deploy).
• Deploy and manage applications in AWS cloud environments.
• Work with CI/CD pipelines to automate build and release processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across frontend and integration layers.
• Contribute to technical documentation, standards, and best practices.

Required profile

• Proven experience in frontend or full‑stack development, preferably in SaaS environments.
• Strong expertise with modern frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Solid skills in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Experience integrating RESTful APIs and working with backend services.
• Understanding of secure development practices (authentication, authorization, OWASP).
• Comfortable working in Agile, cross‑functional teams.
• Experience with AWS or other cloud deployment models.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes.
