Network Engineer – Engineering Services

About the role

The Network Engineer will ensure the smooth operation of Superloop’s global network, delivering maximum performance and availability for customers across consumer, business and wholesale segments. The role involves building, supporting and maintaining network devices and services within the company’s infrastructure‑on‑demand platform.

Key responsibilities

• Implement network infrastructure.
• Proactively monitor network performance.
• Troubleshoot network faults.
• Adhere to network security standards.
• Manage and maintain network documentation and inventory.
• Collaborate with other business units as required.
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices.
• Migrate existing services onto newly installed infrastructure within agreed timelines.
• Plan and execute network infrastructure upgrades to meet capacity demands.
• Follow Superloop change processes and Network Engineering MOP guidelines.
• Respond to support tickets escalated to Engineering Services promptly.
• Provide engineering support to NOC, Presales and Provisioning teams within agreed response times.
• Ensure all required network documentation and inventory is up‑to‑date.
• Complete allocated tasks within agreed timelines and project milestones.
• Maintain and grow relationships with Network Operations, Service Delivery, Network Provisioning, Presales, Products, Sales and Commercial teams.

Required profile

• Proven experience in network engineering and operations.
• Ability to monitor, analyse and troubleshoot network performance issues.
• Knowledge of network security standards and compliance.
• Strong documentation and inventory management skills.
• Willingness to collaborate across multiple internal teams.
• Up‑to‑date awareness of industry trends and emerging technologies.
