Full Stack Engineer

About the role

Blackbook AI is looking for a strong software developer who wants to focus on AI‑driven solutions. You will join the GenAI and Applied AI team to build, harden, and ship production‑grade AI systems for large Australian enterprises and government clients.

Key responsibilities

• Architect, develop, and deliver full‑stack components across data layers, services, APIs, front‑end interfaces, and cloud infrastructure on Azure or AWS.
• Participate in client workshops, technical discovery sessions, and working meetings to translate requirements into production solutions.
• Take proof‑of‑concept or MVP projects to production, ensuring security, scalability, observability, and performance.
• Contribute to greenfield end‑to‑end deliveries and create reusable patterns and accelerators.
• Mentor junior engineers and help shape internal best‑practice libraries.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering production‑grade software with a full‑stack portfolio.
• Strong Python programming skills and experience building APIs/services.
• Ability to design and ship functional front‑end interfaces.
• Hands‑on experience with Azure and/or AWS cloud platforms.
• Active, personal interest in AI technologies and willingness to work on AI‑related projects.
