Full Stack Engineer – Frontend Focus

About the role

Tyro Health is seeking a Software Engineer to build the next generation of digital health claiming and payment experiences. This full‑stack position is frontend‑centric, focusing on creating polished, accessible customer‑facing features across web, mobile and backend.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end delivery of customer‑facing features, from concept to production.
• Build high‑quality, accessible interfaces with a focus on usability, performance and the overall customer journey.
• Contribute to the Android‑based Pro application using React Native and native Android technologies.
• Develop and integrate Node.js services and APIs when features require backend work.
• Collaborate with product, design and engineering teams to translate customer needs into intuitive software.
• Maintain and evolve design system components for consistent experiences.
• Write automated tests and optimise performance for reliability across environments.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of professional software engineering experience, preferably in a fast‑moving product or scale‑up environment.
• Strong focus on frontend engineering with a product‑mindset, considering usability, accessibility and user journeys.
• Ability to work across changing priorities, take ownership and solve loosely defined problems.
• Awareness of security and privacy considerations in healthcare and payments.
