Full Stack Engineer (AI‑enabled eCommerce)

About the role

Kogan.com is looking for a Full Stack Engineer to join a fast‑paced, autonomous team building Australia’s leading eCommerce platform. You will work across the entire technology stack, leveraging AI‑driven tools to ship high‑impact features daily.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and ship new front‑end and back‑end features for bugs and improve existing code to enhance performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with product, design, and data teams to shape the user experience.
• Utilise AI assistants (e.g., Cursor, Claude, Gemini Pro) to accelerate development and code review.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous integration pipelines.

Required profile

• Strong engineering mindset with a focus on quality and scalability.
• Experience building or maintaining full‑stack applications, or deep expertise in either front‑end or back‑end development.
• Ability to learn new languages and frameworks quickly.
• Self‑motivated, comfortable working with minimal red tape and high autonomy.
