Full Stack Developer – 12‑month Fixed‑Term

About the role

Red Energy is seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer to join its Cremorne office on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract. You will own the full development lifecycle of core internal applications, from requirement gathering to deployment, in a fast‑paced, DevOps‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, integrate, test and deploy enhancements to internal applications, ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to scope, analyse and design technical requirements, providing time estimates and risk assessments.
• Work with the architecture team to define standards, best practices and methodologies for system implementation.
• Manage solution integration to minimise business impact and ensure seamless roll‑outs.
• Maintain data integrity and consistency across systems.
• Identify and recommend process improvements to boost efficiency and customer experience.
• Produce high‑quality documentation and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
• Build strong relationships with external providers to optimise service delivery.

Required profile

• Relevant degree (e.g., Information Technology) or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years of professional application development experience.
• Proven ability to thrive in an unstructured, DevOps environment with high ownership.
• Understanding of commercial drivers within the retail energy sector.
