AI Developer

About the role

We want an AI Developer to design, build, deploy and support enterprise AI solutions that lift productivity and help people use AI in their daily work. The role spans AI application and web development, integration, containerisation and DevOps. You will work with business and technology teams to identify valuable AI use cases, ship production‑ready solutions, and set them up for other teams to support and scale.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build AI‑enabled applications, interfaces and agentic workflows using LLMs and enterprise AI platforms.
• Develop responsive web applications in React (or similar) with reusable components and integrate them with APIs, AI services and enterprise systems.
• Package and deploy solutions with Docker and OpenShift, implement CI/CD pipelines, and monitor, tune and resolve issues.
• Translate business requirements into practical designs, prototypes and delivery plans, assessing feasibility, risk and scalability.
• Apply responsible AI practices covering security, privacy, governance and human oversight.
• Produce technical documentation and handover materials so support teams can run and scale each solution.
• Run demonstrations, walkthroughs and help teams adopt AI tools.

Required profile

• Experience building AI‑enabled applications with LLMs, generative AI services or enterprise AI platforms.
• Web development experience in React, JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Proficiency integrating applications with REST APIs, AI services and enterprise systems.
• Hands‑on experience with containerisation (Docker, OpenShift/Kubernetes) and DevOps practices including source control, automated testing and CI/CD.
• A tertiary qualification in computer science, software engineering, IT or AI, or equivalent experience.
